-
Personal Items: Store your personal items in or near the cubbies. Water bottles and phones/cameras are the only exceptions.
-
Lotion and Oils: To ensure safety and grip, avoid using lotions or oils at least 24 hours before class. If you forget, please clean yourself with alcohol wipes or spray before participating.

Teaching & Spotting: Only staff members are authorized to teach classes and spot students. For your safety, please do not ask fellow students to spot or assist with your movements.
Class Etiquette
-
Respecting Privacy: If you plan to post pictures or videos, please ensure that no one else is included in the shot unless you have received their verbal consent.
-
Sharing Poles: In classes with two students per pole, aim to try a move or combo 1-3 times per side before swapping. This keeps the flow of class moving smoothly.
-
Be Prepared: Decide with your partner who will go first and who will go second, and be ready for your turn to minimize downtime between rotations.
Cancellations & No Shows
-
Class Cancellations: All classes have a 5-hour cancellation window. If you try to cancel within 5 hours of the class start time, the app will not allow you to cancel. You may try reaching out via Discord to see if someone can take your spot last minute, but please note that refunds and transfers are not guaranteed.
-
No Shows: We have a 3-strike rule. Since our classes fill up quickly, please attend all the classes you sign up for. If you miss 3 classes within a 6-month period, a $5 fee will be charged for each missed class. Strikes expire after 6 months.
-
10-Minute Late Policy: Students more than 10 minutes (or if you miss the entire warm up) will not be allowed in class at the teachers discretion.
Q&A
-
What should I bring to class?
-
Bring water and an open mind! Be ready to learn and have fun.
-
-
Is there a changing area/dressing room?
-
Yes! We do have a private changing area for those who need to get dressed upon arrival.
-
-
Is there a bathroom?
-
We do not have a bathroom in the building, but have access during all open hours to the Rocknasium bathroom (right next door!)
-
-
What should I wear to class?
-
Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable! Many moves require skin contact with the pole, so the more skin exposed, the better. We recommend short shorts and a tank or sports bra, but feel free to go smaller if you prefer! Pole wear and bikinis are great choices, too. For some low-flow or heels classes, you might need minimal skin coverage, so check the class description.
-
If you want more coverage, companies like CXIX make sticky bodysuits and leggings specifically designed for pole.
-
-
Can your friend/partner stay and watch?
-
Students are not permitted to bring anyone with them to watch. This protects the privacy of other students who may not feel comfortable with an audience other than those participating in the class.
-
-
Do we allow children in our studio?
-
No! Bringing children with you to a class you booked will not be allowed.
-
-
How far in advance are students able to book classes?
-
Classes are posted 2 weeks in advance and are available for reservations.
-
-
Do you need previous strength training or dance experience?
-
No! Anybody can sign up for our Intro to Pole, Conditioning, and Active Flexibility classes.
-
-
This is my first class, what should I take?
-
For your first class, we recommend Intro to Pole, but you’re also welcome to try Conditioning or Active Flex!
-
-
How do I know if I am ready for a class?
-
Each class has a list of prerequisites. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out!
-
Prerequisites might include phrases like “work-in-progress climb,” which means you know the move but still need a little help, or “confident climb,” meaning you can climb multiple times with ease.
-
-
Do the poles have a weight limit?
-
Nope, no weight limit! We often have 2-3 people on a pole at once.
-
-
Is there an age requirement?
-
Yes, all participants must be at least 16 years old, with a waiver filled out by a legal guardian. If you have questions about this email us at info@euphoriapolestudio.com.
