Devil in the Details
Service Description
Sometimes it’s not about chasing the next big trick, but rather utilizing what you already know to create a truly hypnotic experience. Have you ever wondered what makes a choreo more than just a sequence of moves? Why some dancers can be doing the absolute most but watching them is kinda boring, while others might be just using foundational movements but you just can’t look away? In this series we will be breaking choreography down to a learned structure. We will discuss elements of music and how to listen to it, how to add intention, stylization, texture, as well as how to play it up for an audience. This is not a choreography series. We will be building off of very basic sequences with encouraged freestyle to help you build character to your movements and magic to your presence.
