Curious about burlesque but not sure where to start? This fun and welcoming beginner-friendly workshop is the perfect introduction to the art of tease. We’ll explore the foundations of burlesque through basic heels and burlesque jazz technique (heels are completely optional!), playful movement exercises, and creative approaches to stripping and storytelling. You’ll learn how to bring confidence, character, and intention into your performance while discovering what makes burlesque so empowering and expressive. By the end of class, you’ll have learned a short beginner routine and gained the tools to start your own burlesque journey. No dance experience required—just bring your curiosity, a willingness to play, and your fabulous self! No prerequisite, all levels welcome! Max class, 8 students
